Testimonials
"Migraines were always a part of my life. Anxiety would take over my
body. The pain was so unbearable. Locking myself in a dark room was
all I could do. Life was difficult for me and my family. I don't know the chemistry why this works but I can say it does and it's worth a shot for
anyone who doesn't want to suffer any more.", Carmen, Virginia
"My migraine headaches consisted of auras, where my vision is
completely distorted by a large blind spot, like the patch in your vision after you've had your photo taken with a camera flash but larger.
It becomes a bright zigzag line across my vision, debilitating, nauseating, and actually frightening. I was
getting these usually about 2 or 3 times a week for no apparent reason anywhere, any time. My Doctor
prescribed 2 different drugs, then anti-depressants none of which worked, then
finally when I was in tears, he said 'couldn't I learn to live with it'? No I certainly could not... I started researching myself,
possible causes, diet, prevention and other people in the same boat. So, I have changed my diet, I
watch what I eat and I take the dietary supplements regularly. I am completely migraine
FREE!" Juliet Ś Bermuda
"Since I was six, I have lived a life consumed by migraine headaches. I truly believe that
this program was an answer to my prayers. They helped me to begin the nutritional program within one
week of my call. I had no idea what joy and freedom were to come from this decision."
Katherine, Virginia
"Battling depression and migraines for five years on my own, I looked to health food, relaxation
techniques, vitamin supplements etc. My Doctor prescribed antidepressants. Unfortunately, I couldn't
live with the side effects and was forced to try medication after medication. I felt hopeless. Lights came
on for me as I learned more about serotonin and migraine headaches. I already knew that my
serotonin levels influenced depression but didn't think there was away around taking prescription
medication. Taking Neurobiology has solved both problems and without any side effects. For the first
time in years, I can enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest
fall" Rene, Washington
"I have suffered with migraine headaches since I was twelve years old. For the first time in 41 years, I
am happy to say that I am no longer a migraine sufferer." Joy, New York
"I have had these miserable "weather headaches" for 30 years, many lasted 10 days. If you have
not experienced this kind of pain, you may not be able to imagine how important this is, but it is
absolutely a miracle for me." BJ, Oklahoma
"After 25 years of medical research and testing, a major breakthrough in orthomolecular physiology
has resulted in a clear explanation of migraine, brain physiology, and the development of the Migraine
Prevention Program.ln Dr. Allocca, a former migraine sufferer, developed the world's first and only
biochemical model of migraine in 1997. Understanding What Causes Migraine
Headaches, Depression, Insomnia, and Bipolar Syndrome Symptoms and Signs The Migraine Syndrome may begin in childhood, adolescence or early adult life and continue to
reoccur at periodic intervals, which vary with the individual, and sometimes diminish in frequency as the
person advances in age. There are two major classifications of Migraine headaches, with and without
visual disturbances. The Migraine with visual disturbances, which is usually the most severe, is
characterized by a visual disturbance, numbness on one side of the body or limb, and/or slight speech
abnormality. These symptoms, referred to as the aura will diminish as a headache, nausea, vomiting
etc. become more pronounced. The visual disturbance may last anywhere from 5 minutes
to 30 minutes. As the visual disturbance slowly disappears, it gives way to boring pain generalized or localized in one area of the head. The pain
will increase in intensity and acquire a throbbing character. The throbbing characteristic may be
intensified by stooping and by all forms of exertion, light, or sound. If you lie down the intensity may be
increased, and it is slightly reduced when sitting upright. This is due to an increase of pressure in the
head when lying down and a decrease when sitting up. In many cases, the pain may extend down to
the neck. Along with the throbbing pain and visual disturbances, abdominal pains and vomiting are more
pronounced in childhood and adolescence than they are later in life. Almost all migraine sufferers
experience nausea to some extent. As vomiting occurs, so does sweating and chills due to the severe
fluid and nutrient depletion. Diarrhea, often preceded by constipation, will usually occur about the
same time as the nausea and/or vomiting. During a migraine attack, one will undergo a state of mental confusion,
altered consciousness, and may experience a state of euphoria. Along with this confusion and euphoria is the constant throbbing of
pain, which will not stop. During the headache, one may experience mood changes with feelings of
being rejected and often seriously depressed. At times one may be unsociable, rejecting
companionship or the presence of others, becoming irritable and rejecting any demand to make a
decision. Migraine attacks will vary in duration and intensity. A Migraine
attack can last from hours to days. After an attack one may feel relaxed,
in good spirits, be filled with energy and drive, enthusiastic about your work, and sometimes overly active. An individual may also become hungry after an attack.
There may be a feeling of physical depletion for a day or two, especially if there has been a great deal
of vomiting or diarrhea. The frequency of migraine attacks vary from daily to only a few times in a
lifetime. Between attacks there are almost no symptoms with the exception of the
ih type Alt personality, irritability, and depression. The symptoms of depression are quite easily realized. The symptoms of bipolar syndrome are not so
easily noticed. Bipolar syndrome is often characterized by an individual who is quiet or depressed one
moment, then exhibits mania and/or rage the next moment. An individual
suffering from depression may also suffer from insomnia. Symptoms of other conditions of low serotonin or norepinephrine include
Fibromyalgia,
anxiety, carbohydrate craving, overweight, and more. Main Causes - Migraine Headaches
Imbalances in brain chemistry, particularly neurotransmitter levels, have a large range of effects on
emotions, behavior, and brain circulation. Neurotransmitters are chemical substances that pass signals
between nerves. The size of the blood vessels in your head, as well as other
functions, are controlled by signals transmitted along nerves. Neurotransmitters are chemical substances that pass signals along
nerves. Normally, a part of your brain sends signals along the nerves to
keep the blood vessels in your head at a constant size. However, if there are not enough neurotransmitters in the brain to control the size of the
blood vessels in your head, they will continually enlarge until they cannot stretch any longer. The
enlarged blood vessels will create a tremendous amount of pain, hence the migraine headache.
Serotonin and norepinephrine are the two main neurotransmitters used in the brain to control the size
of blood vessels as well as other functions. These neurotransmitter levels can be diminished by allergic
reactions, inflammation, poor absorption of nutrients into the brain, poor metabolism of nutrients in the
brain, chemicals that deplete them, excessive depletion (over usage) lowering them or because there
are not enough nutrients in the brain to produce more. Congestive bowel toxicity and intestinal dysbiosis
play a major role in producing toxins. Migraine, depression, and insomnia have similar mechanisms and
pathways, all resulting from a loss of serotonin and norepinephrine. The loss of serotonin and norepinephrine may be quantified in three stages. Stage 1 is the first level
below normal whereby insomnia is experienced. Stage 2 is the next lower level whereby depression is
experienced. Stage 3 is the next lower level whereby a migraine headache is
experienced It appears that Migraineurs have a higher than normal amount of serotonin and norepinephrine
receptors in the brain and therefore require a larger than normal amount of neurotransmitters, which
requires a larger than normal amount of nutrients to manufacture
them. The multifocal prevention method addresses two mechanisms.
First, provide adequate nutrients to the brain that are needed to manufacture neurotransmitters. Second, prevent the loss of
neurotransmitters. This method includes: daily dietary supplementation of
nutrients that are required for the production of neurotransmitters in order to increase the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine,
along with supplementation of antioxidants, methyl donors, anti-allergic substances, cell membrane
support substances, and a special diet to reduce the amount of allergic and inflammatory reactions.
Special attention is also given to complications such as, increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut
syndrome), which may allow large allergic substances to enter the
blood stream, increased intestinal Candida albicans, liver and bowel toxins, etc. These complications lead to the loss of neurotransmitters.
Main Causes - Depression and Bipolar Syndrome
Imbalances in brain chemistry have a large range of effects on emotions, behavior, and brain
circulation. Migraine, depression, and insomnia, all have similar neurotransmitter mechanisms of low
serotonin and norepinephrine levels. Insomnia and depression are often associated with migraines.
Serotonin and norepinephrine are the two main neurotransmitters needed in the brain. When the
brain is low in serotonin and norepinephrine, the individual experiences depression and insomnia. When
the level of serotonin is low and the level of norepinephrine is high, the individual may experience
mania. Neurotransmitter levels can be diminished by allergic reactions, inflammation, poor absorption of
nutrients into the brain, poor metabolism of nutrients in the brain, a lack of nutrients in the brain,
chemicals reactions, stress and other factors listed. Norepinephrine levels can skyrocket from the use of
stimulants and over-the-counter medications such as,
pseudoephedrine. Many people, especially children have poor diets resulting from high toxin levels and low nutrient
levels, which can lead to low serotonin levels in the brain. Low levels of serotonin and low levels of
norepinephrine can cause depression. Consequently, they will experience depression and fatigue and
pursue stimulants such as coffee and soft drinks containing high amounts
of caffeine. The caffeine causes an increase in cortisol, epinephrine, and
norepinephrine levels in the brain. When there are low serotonin and high norepinephrine levels in the brain, an individual may exhibit manic behavior and
when high enough, violence. This is the biochemical foundation of the bipolar syndrome.
The multifocal prevention method addresses two mechanisms. First, provide adequate nutrients
to the brain that are needed to manufacture neurotransmitters. Second, prevent the loss of
neurotransmitters. This method includes: daily dietary supplementation of nutrients that are required for
the production of neurotransmitters in order to increase the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine,
along with supplementation of antioxidants, methyl donors, anti-allergic substances, cell membrane
support substances, and a special diet to reduce the amount of allergic and inflammatory reactions.
Special attention is also given to complications such as, increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut
syndrome), which may allow large allergic substances to enter the blood stream, increased intestinal
Candida albicans, liver and bowel toxins, etc. These complications lead
to the loss of neurotransmitters.
What Triggers a Loss of Neurotransmitters
Ingestion of various food allergins or sensitivities Inhalation or ingestion of various chemicals
(serotonin depleting and/or vasoconstrictive). Chemical sensitivities Congestive bowel toxicity Rapid changes in hormone levels
Rapid changes in barometric pressure Head cold or sinus congestion
Rapid changes in blood sugar level Structural defects or muscle tension
Candidiasis or other gastrointestinal disorders Increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut syndrome)
Magnesium deficiency or other vitamin, mineral, or protein deficiencies
Increased psychological anxiety or physical exertion Dehydration
Inadequate exposure to sunlight Liver/Gallbladder Problems
Increasing Neurotransmitter levels
Supplementation to Increase Neurotransmitter Levels
Serotona TM (Neurobiology Formula 12397 Part 1- patented)
idesigned to supply the nutrientsrequired to facilitate the production of serotonin in
the brain. Norepa TM (Part 2 of the formula) is designed to supply the nutrients required to facilitate the production of norepinephrine in the brain and
to decrease allergic reactions. Consequently, when lost serotonin and norepinephrine are replaced
naturally, loss of vasomotor control may be prevented. Daily intake of this formula will help to
maintain prevention. All of the ingredients in the Neurobiology Formula
are nutrients one should be getting in their diet. However, one may not be getting a sufficient quantity of them to meet their particular needs. Physicians
have recommended this formula during pregnancy. Serotona TM (Neurobiology Formula 12397 - Part 1)

Is The Neurobiology Formula Safe? Is It Effective?
For Katherine it was safe enough for her unborn child. Here is her story.
In the first grade Katherine developed migraines, sometimes 5-6 a week times. She was given
blood pressure medications, antidepressants and a variety of seizure drugs to prevent these painful
episodes. She married and began to talk about having children. Most of
doctors were very negative and discouraged her from ever becoming pregnant. She was told preventative medications were not
safe during pregnancy, and was either going to have to risk hurting my unborn child or endure the
pain. Katherine learned of Dr. Allocca's research and
took Neurobiology's ingredient list to her doctor to review. Her doctor said
I don't see how it will help you, but it won't hurt you, On January 3 rd she
started taking Neurobiology and under the direction of her physician,
began eliminating the preventative drugs. February 26 th she called to say she was
pregnant Her doctor not only cleared her to continue using the Neurobiology Formula, but said she could use
it as a prenatal vitamin. In October she delivered a healthy baby girl. She continues to use the
Neurobiology Formula as her daily nutritional supplement and is completely free of migraines and the
need for drugs.
General Health Supplementation
Daily Multiple Vitamin and Mineral
A multiple vitamin and mineral formula is recommended to ensure that you are getting all the
vitamins and minerals your diet may be lacking. Buffered Vitamin C Powder
Vitamin C powder is used to determine your daily dose of Vitamin C by using the Ascorbate Flush
method. One can take capsules for the daily dose if desired, once the proper dose has been
determined. Vitamin C is an important anti-oxidant. Potassium Potassium Aspartate (99 mg
potassium) Calcium Citrate (100 mg calcium), Magnesium Citrate (100
mg magnesium) Omega 3 Oils (EPA - 300 mg, DHA - 200 mg) EPA/DHA are recommended because they have anti-inflammatory properties.
Ginko Biloba - 60 mg Ginko Biloba is recommended to facilitate brain vascular circulation.
Turmeric Ś 600 mg Turmeric is recommended because it has anti-inflammatory properties. Take 600 mg 1-2 times per
day.
Dietary and Other Considerations
Water
The mechanism the body uses for eliminating toxins is to convert them from fat-soluble to water-
soluble so they can be excreted by the kidneys and skin. Drinking plenty of pure water will allow your
body to rapidly excrete soluble waste products. Water is also important in moving material along the
intestinal tract. Drink a minimum of 2 quarts of water per day. Drink a little more water than you think you
need.
Caffeine
Caffeine has a detrimental effect on the cardiovascular system and may mask symptoms of
fatigue. Caffeine is also addictive. The more you drink, the more caffeine your body will require for the
same effect. A cup of coffee varies from 65 mg to 190 mg caffeine. A cup of tea varies from 10 to 90
mg. Regular use of more than 350 mg of caffeine a day causes physical dependence. 1 cup of
coffee per day is not likely to cause addiction. Be sure to limit your intake coffee to not more than one
cup per day and not more than 250 mg caffeine per day. MSG Be sure to avoid foods that contain MSG. Read the labels and look for hidden MSG. Migraineurs
especially have adverse reactions from Monosodium Glutamate (MSG). The following is a list of
additives which may contain hidden MSG: Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein
(HVP), Hydrolyzed Protein, Hydrolyzed Plant Protein, Plant Protein Extract,
Sodium Caseinate, Calcium Caseinate, Yeast Extract, Textured Protein, Autolyzed Yeast and Hydrolyzed Oat Flour, Malt extract, Malt Flavoring, Bouillon, Broth,
Stock, Flavoring, Natural Flavoring, Natural Beef or Chicken Flavoring, Seasoning, Spices,
Carrageenan, Enzymes, Soy Protein Concentrate, Soy Protein Isolate, and Whey Protein Concentrate, Soy Sauce,
Miso,
Tamari. Stress Reduction In addition to bodily attention, a you should look into learning methods for reducing emotional
stress. Stress can drastically alter your nervous system activity, hormone levels, and body chemistry.
Stress can activate an enzyme that converts tryptophan into niacin instead of
serotonin. High daily stress
levels can lead to disease. If your daily stress level is high, you should look into stress reduction methods
such as yoga, meditation, spirituality, psychotherapy, E.M.D.R., relaxation techniques and devices,
etc.
Exercise
Daily exercise is an important part of this program. Exercise sets your
metabolic rate, increases your blood flow, reduces your stress, and plays
an important role in oxygenating your cells. Check with your
family physician first. Choose the type(s) of exercise you enjoy. Walking (briskly) everyday for 20 minutes
should constitute an adequate amount of exercise. Aerobic exercise continuously uses large muscle
groups. It also elevates the heart rate and breathing for a sustained period of time.
Examples include walking, jogging/running, swimming, rowing, stair
climbing, bicycling, cross-country skiing, step and dance exercise classes, roller and ice skating, tennis, racquetball, and squash. You should; cross; train;
(alternating between types of exercises) to reduce the possibility of repetition injuries.
A weak heart cannot pump as much blood as a healthy heart when the muscle contracts. A weak
heart will compensate by pumping more blood each minute, causing the heart to age and weaken
prematurely. A healthy or well-conditioned heart may have a heart rate of 50 beats, which pumps the
same amount of blood per minute as a weaker heart pumps in 80 beats. The difference is 30 beats per
minute, 1,800 beats per hour, 43,200 beats per day, and 15,778,800 beats per year. The skin is a vitally
important organ that eliminates toxins through perspiration. Exercises that cause perspiration will
facilitate the elimination of toxins.
Hormones
Hormone levels can affect the body as a whole. Various hormones, especially thyroid hormones
should be checked through the appropriate blood tests and treated accordingly.
Tyramine Containing Foods
Tyramine is a vaso-active amino acid that causes vasoconstriction. It
also displaces norepinephrine from the nerve endings and epinephrine
from the adrenal glands. Monoamine oxidase is in the gastrointestinal tract and inactivates
tyramine. There is an adverse reaction when there is either too
much tyromine or too little monoamine oxidase. The tyramine content in foods differ greatly due to
different processing, aging, fermentation, ripening and/or contamination. Many foods that contain
small amounts of tyramine develop large amounts of tyramine if the food
products were left to spoil,
age (not fresh), or fermented. The emphasis is placed on FRESH FOODS. Fruits that are permissible
should be very fresh. Avoid leftovers kept in the refrigerator especially meats, dry packages mixes and
can products (prepared foods), yeast extracts, and protein extracts. Remember, foods increase in their
tyramine content as they age or ferment. For example, bananas are permissible if they are fresh, not if
they are overripe
There are also other chemicals in foods that can deplete neurotransmitters, such as
recerpine. The following list of foods should be avoided. Mild tyramine reactions can occur with
approximately 6 mg of tyramine. Severe reactions can occur with 10-25 mg of
tyramine.
Approximate tyramine contents per gram of food:
Cheddar cheese = 1.5 mg/g (42.5 mg/ounce)
Blue Stilton = 0.2 mg/g (5.6 mg/ounce)
Gouda = 0.02 mg/g (0.56 mg/ounce)
Beer = 0.02 mg/g (0.56 mg/ounce)
Wine = 0.025 mg/g (0.71 mg/ounce)
Yeast Extracts = 2 mg/g (56.6 mg/ounce)
Potassium
Like sodium, potassium is a vital mineral element associated with physiologic fluid balance.
Potassium also plays an important role in the activity of striated muscle and functions with sodium and
calcium to regulate neuromuscular excitability, stimulation and transmission of electrochemical
impulses. It is also important in carbohydrate metabolism and protein synthesis. It acts as a stimulant to
the kidneys and assists in the conversion of glucose to glycogen. Potassium also plays an important role
in the transport of serotonin.
Symptoms of potassium deficiency include: edema, muscular weakness, tachycardia and/or
irregular heartbeat, nervousness, kidney disorders, paralysis, weak reflexes, insomnia, constipation, and
continuous thirst. There are many methods for testing potassium levels. The most
convenient method for home use is to test the urine pH. A pH lower than
6.5 may indicate low potassium and/or low calcium. Micro Essential Laboratory makes test strips (Catalog # 334, 4.5-7.5 pH), which can be run under an early
morning urine stream. Match the color of the test strip to the color chart on the container to determine
pH. The minimum daily requirement of potassium is 2,000 mg. Potassium Aspartate is an absorbable
form of potassium, which is available in capsules containing 99 mg of potassium. 20 capsules contain
the RDA amount. Supplementation with calcium is also recommended.
Recommended Supplements:
Potassium Aspartate (99 mg potassium)
Calcium Citrate (100 mg calcium), Magnesium Citrate (100 mg magnesium)
3-Day Diet Diary
Often an individual can be eating something that can trigger a migraine headache and
depression, such as toothpaste or mouthwash that may contain Aspartame
(nutrasweet). Keep a 3-day
diet diary of everything you eat and send it to Dr. Allocca for analysis along with a self-address stamped
envelope or send it by email to john@allocca.com. Be specific with name brands. With Dr. Allocca's
help, you may uncover a trigger you were unaware of.

Detoxification and Intestinal Dysbiosis
Understanding Detoxification
A great number of health problems can be attributed to the exposure to toxins. Internally produced
toxins may be the result of food allergies and sensitivities. Increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut
syndrome) can result in an increased absorption of toxins and microorganisms.
Congestive bowel toxicity can greatly increase the amount of toxins
produced. Adequate antioxidants and other nutrients must be present to
convert the fat-soluble toxins to less toxic, water-soluble, compounds that are easily excreted in the urine and bile. If these nutrients are not
available, the detoxification process will stop at the production of
intermediate compounds that are more toxic than the original toxins, which will severely damage your
cells Understanding Intestinal Dysbiosis (imbalanced or toxic) The intestinal tract contains a delicate balance of iffriendlyln microbes that help to digest food. This
balance can be altered by various pathogenic microbes, which cause dysboisis or imbalance.
Candida albicans is a yeast-like fungi that resides in the intestinal track helping to digest food. A
Candida albicans overgrowth, is a common dysboisis problem. Diet is a critical component in the
process of controlling Candida overgrowth. The Candida albicans in the intestinal track is balanced by
bacteria (Lactobacillus bifidus, etc.), which also aids in digestion. Antibiotics (much of which is passed to
us from meat through the antibiotics fed to farm animals) destroy this bacterial flora in the
intestinal tract, leaving the yeast an opportunity to overgrow. In addition to Candida overgrowth, damage to the intestinal wall can occur from: using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
(NSAIDS), HIV infection, intestinal
infection, intestinal dysboisis, maldigestion / malabsorption, alcoholism, aging, deficient
IgA, giardiasis, candidiasis, ingestion of
allergic foods, ingestion of offending chemicals, and trauma and endotoxima
Symptoms include: fatigue, depression, chronic dermatological infections or rashes, acne,
abdominal bloating, intestinal gas, indigestion, constipation or diarrhea, chemical sensitivities, food
allergies, hypoglycemia, premenstrual tension, endometriosis,
prostatitis, vaginitis, inability to concentrate, frequent mood shifts, rheumatoid arthritis, and loss of memory.
When a particular food causes an allergic reaction (inflammatory response), a certain amount of
pain is produced. The body detects this pain and produces endorphins,
which are similar to narcotics, to eliminate the pain. If the food is consumed regularly, the body will crave that food because it leads
to the production endorphins. Similarly, Candida overgrowth will cause cravings for breads, sugars,
starches, and yeast containing foods. These foods stimulate allergic reactions. If sleepiness occurs after
a meal, it is usually from an allergic reaction to the food or because the
food was improperly
combined. A great deal of discipline is required to avoid these foods.
If there is an overgrowth of Candida albicans as a result of antibiotic therapy, there is likely to be an
overgrowth Clostridium difficile, a bacteria that causes problems similar to Candida albicans
overgrowth. Symptoms alone may not be adequate to evaluation intestinal Candida albicans and
other microbial overgrowth. A Candida Antibody blood test and/or a comprehensive digestive stool
analysis can be more accurate. They can be a variety of microbes living
in the intestinal tract producing unwanted toxins Understanding Congestive Bowel Toxicity Imagine what will happen if you eat food that has decayed for weeks? This is analogous to food that
remains in the large intestines for the same length of time. Many of the decayed materials and toxins
get into the blood stream and have an adverse effect on your health. High fiber foods retain water and
help move material along the colon. Be sure to eat foods that are high in fiber. Drink plenty of water. Eat
plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. An individual with normal bowel function should have 2 bowel
movements per day. Begin with Two-Weeks of Detoxification and Bowel Cleansing
(Repeat every 3 months) Detoxification and Bowel Cleansing Formula 35982
This formula is used to detoxify and cleanse the liver, gallbladder, and intestinal track. It should be
used for the first 2 weeks and repeated every 3 months. Eight capsules contain: Vitamin C (as calcium
ascorbate) - 160 mg, Vitamin E (as dl-alpha
tococpheryl acetate.) - 100 IU, Calcium (as calcium citrate/calcium
hydroxyapatite) - 67 mg,
Magnesium (as magnesium aspartate) - 40 mg, Proprietary Blend - 4,872 mg
(Psyllium Husks, Aloe Vera
Latex, Cascara Sagrada, Capsicum, Valerian Root, Activated Charcoal, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Pau
D'arco, Golden Seal, Dandelion, Garlic, Milk Thistle, Licorice, Barley Grass,
Alpha-Lipoic Acid, trimethylglycine) Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, adults, orally, eight capsules at bedtime with 12 oz. of
water for 14 days, or as directed by a physician. Discontinue if you
experience severe diarrhea. Warning: Do not take if you are pregnant or nursing, unless directed by a physician.
Oregano Extract Ś 50 mg, 4 tablets, 3x day with each meal Oregano extract has powerful anti-microbial properties.
Alternate with Bifidus Bacteria Ś low dose - one a day for 3 days
Probiotic that controls the intestinal flora balance. Use small doses.
Note1: Alternate between oregano extract and bifidus bacteria for 2-4
weeks. Then, continue with bifidus bacteria every other day. Note 2:
Do not take high doses of bifidus bacteria because it can produce
tyramine. Use small doses. Detoxification and Bowel Cleansing Maintenance
The Ascorbate Flush The prescription drugs and over the counter medications you have used over the years have been
hard on your digestive system. The ascorbate flush is used to increase your pH, cleanse the bowels and
dilate the common (bile) duct while stimulating the liver to release toxins. It is also used to determine
your daily dose of Vitamin C. If you have 7 or more bowel movements per week do the ascorbate flush procedure once a
month. If you have less 4 to 7 bowel movements per week repeat the ascorbate flush procedure once
a week. If you have less than 4 bowel movements twice per week. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of ascorbate powder (Buffered Vitamin C) with 2 ounces of room temperature
water or juice. Allow effervescence to dissipate (about 2 minutes), then drink the mixture. Repeat this
procedure every 15 minutes until a watery diarrhea has occurred, writing down the times and doses you
have taken. After you have achieved the watery diarrhea, add up the total amount of ascorbate taken.
Each 1/2 teaspoon should be equal to 1,500 mg of vitamin C. Your daily amount of vitamin C will be 75 percent of the total
mgs needed to achieve the watery diarrhea through the ascorbate flush procedure. For example, if it takes 4,000 mg of vitamin C to
achieve the watery diarrhea, then your daily dose of vitamin C should be 3,000 mg. You can take
capsules of vitamin C instead of the powder once you know your daily amount. The maximum dose of
vitamin C should not exceed 5,000 mg. If it does, then you most likely are fairly toxic. If your daily dose
of vitamin C causes diarrhea, change it to 75 percent of the dose that caused the diarrhea.
Cascara Sagrada Many people find the ascorbate flush to be objectionable and refuse to comply with it. Cascara
sagrada is an herb that acts similarly to the ascorbate flush, although. not as effective. Two capsules at
