It is a large structure, the rooms looks clean, pleasant, and nice. Rooms have coffee makers and hair dryers. No breakfast is included.

Children 18 yrs and under stay free. (In 2002 Auto Club Tour book, there are $5.00 discount cards which can be used for an additional reduction in the room fee.) This facility has new, firm beds, refrigerators and microwaves, an elevator (only 3 floors), cable TV, a lovely pool area with several long-lounge chairs. Free continental breakfasts. Rooms lovely and clean. Pleasant helpful personnel at desk. Next door to a unique upscale coffee shop called Foxy=s, which is open 7 days a week 6 am to 10 pm.

Auto Club Approved facility. Pool area. Researcher's comment: Smaller facility, friendly, low-key desk help, nothing fancy, but rooms are fine, nice and clean, beds firm. Similar to a Motel 6.

Also work desk and data port and voice mail. Comment: Spiffy, fresh, new exterior, large, nice rooms with firm beds.

Best Western Eagle Rock Inn: 2911 Colorado Blvd. Los Angeles (323) 256-7711 (800) Western www.bestwestern.com/eaglerockinn (2.45 miles from Hilton) Rates: I person-$82.72 Free Continental breakfast, refrigerators, coffee makers, iron/board, newspapers, heated pool/spa. Comment: Loveliest of interiors, the rooms are cozy with dark cherry furniture. Firm beds. Very close to 2 freeways, but great sound insulation. Friendly and helpful at desk. Smallish facility. Looks like they cater to business personnel.

GLEN CAPRI INN and SUITES at 6700 San Fernando Road lists rates from $60-$80. Phone: (818)340-6911. Located 2.6 miles from Hilton.
